Junior Campus: Queen Street

The Junior School offers everything girls in their early, formative years need, including well-equipped learning centres, play areas and a modern library and theatre.

The Junior campus at Queen Street has been fully refurbished and provides a wide array of specialist facilities including:

  • Light, airy and generously proportioned classrooms fully equipped with learning technologies
  • Specialist classrooms for teaching of languages, technology, music, art
  • Dedicated drama studio including puppet theatre
  • 300-seat Galaxy Theatre
  • Attractive modern library with rich displays and a variety of learning spaces
  • Two tennis courts
  • Separate playgrounds for infants (K-2) and primary (3-6) with raised vegetable gardens and a variety of play equipment

The Junior School also makes regular use of facilities at the nearby Senior campus, including swimming lessons in the pool and regular performances in the 600-seat Astra Theatre.

The Senior School is situated in one of the most beautiful locations in Sydney, looking over Balmoral Beach to the Pacific Ocean.

Senior Campus

Generations of students have enjoyed the magnificent views from the original location in Mandolong Road and Queenwood Girls continue to make use of the local environment – whether running on the beach for PE lessons, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of water and sky or even snorkelling at nearby rock shelves to study marine biology.

Girls from Years 7 to 12 move easily between different campuses for specialist lessons, all the while developing a sense of responsibility for their learning and of belonging to the local community. Quality facilities support specialist teaching and a wide range of activities within and beyond the curriculum:
