Beyond Queenwood
Equipped to thrive, make a difference, and live with purpose.
With the character to serve and the confidence to create change.
Careers & higher education
At Queenwood, we believe that careers education is about more than pathways; it is about helping students understand themselves, their strengths, and the ways they can contribute meaningfully to the world.
Research in career development emphasises that students flourish when they are supported to reflect on their values, explore possibilities, and engage with real-world experiences that connect learning to life beyond school.
Through curriculum, co-curricular programs, mentorship, and reflection, students develop the knowledge, habits, and character that equip them not only to make informed decisions but to flourish in all aspects of school life and beyond. At Queenwood, we prepare students not just for careers, but for lives of purpose, creativity, and contribution.
Queenwood Parent’s Association (QPA)
Queenwood is enriched by its active community of parents and friends.
The energy and goodwill of our parent community is vital in building a school in which girls can flourish. From Kindergarten to Year 12, parents have many opportunities to get involved.
Our girls are confident, accomplished women of action.
The lives and achievements of Queenwood alumnae remind us of what is possible. Explore more stories from the Our Girls Are… campaign.

Service-learning
We value the transformative power of human connection.
When students engage with people and communities whose experiences differ from their own, whether through learning about homelessness, disability, life as a refugee, or growing up without family support, their understanding deepens and their learning becomes personal, powerful, and enduring. These encounters are thoughtfully embedded throughout a student’s journey with us, and beyond.
Indigenous Connections
Queenwood is committed to education as a means of seeking justice, peace and prosperity for all.
In our school and community, we wish to deepen understanding of the histories and worldviews of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, celebrate the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and contribute to the ongoing development of Australia through our connection with the world’s oldest continuous living cultures.
